What a treat! :) Four stories by Csd3819, one of my favorite father-son spanking writers.|
His stories are realistic, well-written and often rather intense, depicting a family which is loving most of the time, but which has its problems also.
Don't Play Soccer In The House -> This is a short chapter, telling about a spanking the boys get when they are quite young, for playing soccer indoors. I can't help thinking that the matter should have been dealt with in a less strict manner (that's something that happens to me with well-written stories, which get me to care about the characters), but I guess they were different times. The ending is quite sweet.
Camping With Dad and My Brothers -> My favorite story among these four (although all of them are good) is this tale about a camping trip taken by the three boys and their dad. The eldest boy is in that cranky mood elder preteens or younger teens sometimes get into (I can identify myself with that, I'm afraid), and he gets into a strong battle of wills with his father. Intense and extremely good story. The father is overly strict, in my opinion, although I admit the situation must have been frustrating for him. Still, such stern treatment must foster some resentment. There are sweet moments in the story too. The story ends well, but I think that in real life there are no winners in this kind of battles, and only resentment is produced. Still, I have to keep in mind once more that these were different times, and the generally accepted way of dealing with boyish misbehavior was different.
No Cussing -> In this one, the boys' father campaigns to get his sons to stop using filthy vocabulary. Intense once more, and harsh. I wonder why this treatment doesn't cause more rebellion, even if it's just passive rebellions. Wouldn't it cause more anger? The father is not abusive, though. He is loving, but also very strict.
The Alaska Rock -> The three brothers are supposed to be helping with some garden work, but Nick, the middle one, does not like it one bit, and his attitude ends up getting him in trouble. Another very good story.
